Transformation - Personal and Spiritual Healing Techniques
Marilyn Kapp and Eamen Hameed look at “Transformation” at a personal level, how it is understood, and if one can initiate and experience it in a lifetime & beyond for healing purposes.
In English, generic “transformation” is defined as the process of changing form, appearance, structure, condition, nature, or character; metamorphisms or transmutation.
In psychology, spiritual transformation is understood within the context of an individual's meaning system, especially in relation to concepts of the sacred or ultimate concern. At its heart, spiritual transformation is defined to refer to a fundamental change in the place of the sacred or the character of the sacred in the life of the individual. It constitutes a change in the meaning system that a person holds as a basis for self-definition, the interpretation of life, and overarching purposes and ultimate concerns.
New Age spirituality, defines spiritual transformation as the act of transforming the deepest aspects of the human spirit via a self-induced or "divine" act.
