Develop Your Core Muscles to Prevent Lower Back Pain
Our core muscles maintain our stability when we stand, sit, and pick up heavy objects. The core muscles are deep muscle layers that lay close to the spine and provide structural support. They wrap around the spine and function as a compression corset. Dysfunction in the core muscles has been implicated in back pain. There are simple techniques that we can integrate into our daily activities to maintain our core muscles strong as we age to prevent pain in lower back.
We will discuss this in more detail and provide practical techniques to develop them.
